Forward Deployed Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a Forward Deployed AI Engineer to join our AI Solutions Team. This is a high-impact role where you will work directly with enterprise customers to deploy, customize, and operationalize AI-powered workflow solutions.

This position is a unique blend of full-stack engineering, AI implementation, and client-facing solution delivery. As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will partner with business consultants and customer stakeholders to translate complex business problems into deployable, AI-driven architectures.

You will help customers implement agentic AI workflows and intelligent automations within enterprise ecosystems (specifically ServiceNow), while also contributing to the evolution of our internal AI platforms, accelerators, and reusable intellectual property.

Key Responsibilities

Client Delivery & AI Implementation

• Deploy and configure agentic AI workflows and AI-powered automations within client environments.
• Translate business requirements into robust technical architectures and implementation plans.
• Tailor AI solutions to align with specific operational workflows and enterprise business processes.

Solution Engineering & Prototyping

• Build high-quality demos, prototypes, and Proof of Concept (PoC) implementations to validate AI-driven workflows.
• Rapidly iterate on solutions based on customer feedback to refine AI-powered use cases.
• Support the implementation of AI orchestration, LLM integrations, and agentic decision models.

Full Stack Engineering & Integration

• Develop integrations between enterprise platforms (ServiceNow), internal systems, APIs, and AI services.
• Build supporting components including scripts, microservices, and automation logic.
• Ensure seamless data flow between AI platforms and enterprise data sources.

Product & Platform Evolution

• Identify patterns from client deployments to contribute to the development of reusable AI assets and solution accelerators.
• Provide direct feedback to the product engineering team to transform successful custom implementations into repeatable platform features.

Technical Consulting

• Lead technical workshops and discovery sessions with customer stakeholders.
• Communicate complex architecture, system behaviors, and technical tradeoffs to both technical and non-technical audiences.

What Success Looks Like (First 6 Months)

• Deployment: Successfully deploy AI-powered solutions across multiple high-value client engagements.
• Integration: Deliver functional AI workflows and integrations within customer ServiceNow environments.
• Innovation: Contribute reusable components and automation logic back to the internal AI toolset.
• Relationship Building: Establish yourself as a trusted technical advisor for both customers and internal delivery teams.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 5–8+ years of experience in software engineering, systems integration, or enterprise automation.
• Engineering Foundation: Strong background in full-stack development with proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and/or Python.
• AI Expertise: Practical experience working with AI/LLM technologies, prompt engineering, or AI-integrated applications.
• Client-Facing Skills: Proven experience in a consulting or customer-facing engineering role.
• Cloud Knowledge: Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Communication: Ability to bridge the gap between technical execution and business strategy.

Preferred Qualifications

• ServiceNow Expertise: Strong experience with ServiceNow development, APIs, and workflow automation.
• ServiceNow Data Models: Familiarity with CMDB, ITSM/CSM workflow tables, and Knowledge Management.
• Advanced AI Implementation: Experience building RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems, vector database integrations, or agent-based workflows.
• Product Mindset: Experience contributing to internal frameworks, libraries, or reusable product accelerators.
