Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Forward-Deployed Engineer with a strong background in Artificial Intelligence (AI), software engineering, and marketing technologies. The ideal candidate will work closely with customers and business stakeholders to develop, deploy, and optimize AI-driven solutions that address real-world business challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered applications and solutions in customer environments.
- Collaborate with clients, product teams, data scientists, and marketing stakeholders to understand business requirements.
- Build and integrate AI/ML models, LLMs, APIs, and enterprise applications.
- Develop solutions involving marketing automation, customer engagement, personalization, and campaign optimization.
- Translate business and marketing requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.
- Work directly with customers to demonstrate solutions, gather feedback, and drive successful implementation.
- Support end-to-end deployment, testing, monitoring, and ongoing maintenance.
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience in software engineering, application development, and production deployments.
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML technologies, generative AI, LLMs, or AI-powered applications.
- Experience with Python, APIs, data integration, and cloud platforms.
- Understanding of marketing technologies, marketing automation, customer data platforms (CDPs), or campaign analytics.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer-facing consulting skills.
- Ability to work onsite and participate in face-to-face interviews.
Pay: $70.00 - $75.00 per hour

About Forward Deployed Engineering
Forward Deployed Engineers are embedded directly with customers to build custom solutions, integrate products into existing infrastructure, and bridge the gap between product engineering and customer success. The role combines deep technical skills with the ability to operate in client environments and translate business requirements into working software.
Originally pioneered by Palantir, the FDE model has spread across AI, enterprise SaaS, and cloud infrastructure companies. FDEs write production code, architect integrations, train customer teams, and feed product insights back to the core engineering organization. At companies like OpenAI, Salesforce, and Databricks, FDE teams are treated as elite engineering units that can ship custom solutions in days rather than quarters.
Typical FDE stack: Python, TypeScript, SQL, REST/GraphQL APIs, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), and increasingly LLM APIs and AI orchestration frameworks. Strong communication and the ability to context-switch between technical and business conversations are as important as coding ability.
