Duties

• Collaborate closely with clients and cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable system designs.
• Develop, test, and deploy software solutions utilizing languages such as Java, Python, C#, and JavaScript within agile environments.
• Design and implement system architectures incorporating service-oriented architecture (SOA), microservices, and RESTful APIs to ensure robust enterprise solutions.
• Integrate diverse database systems including SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, NoSQL databases like MongoDB, and data pipelines involving ETL processes for efficient data management.
• Conduct system troubleshooting support by diagnosing issues related to IT infrastructure, network configurations (VPNs, firewalls), load balancing, and cloud security (AWS, Azure).
• Manage configuration control through versioning tools such as Git and Jenkins for continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
• Perform requirements analysis and business analysis to align technical solutions with client objectives while ensuring system security through vulnerability assessments and threat intelligence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in systems engineering with a focus on enterprise solutions implementation across diverse platforms.
• Strong knowledge of service-oriented architecture (SOA), solution architecture, system design, and application development.
• Hands-on expertise with cloud services (AWS, Azure), virtualization (VMware, ESXi), container orchestration (Kubernetes), and DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash shell scripting, Python, PowerShell, along with configuration management tools like GPO and Ansible.
• Deep understanding of database systems including SQL (T-SQL), PostgreSQL, Oracle, NoSQL databases; familiarity with data modeling and ETL workflows.
• Skilled in network protocols (DNS, DHCP), computer networking concepts (VPNs, firewalls), system administration on Windows/Linux platforms.
• Experience with software development frameworks such as.NET, Ruby on Rails; knowledge of web services including SOAP and RESTful APIs.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues quickly; experience in vulnerability management and information security practices is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; certifications in cloud computing (AWS Certified Solutions Architect), cybersecurity or systems engineering are advantageous.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $91,600.00 per year
